Daasrean Greene has informed the DA of his intention "to commence full investigations."
The acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Daasrean Greene, said that one of his priorities is the the public concern over what has been coined the "extrajudicial killings."

"I will do my best to ensure everything is put in its place and to take care of the outstanding matters that are facing the public at present," he said. "My priorities are the backlog of cases before the High Court of Justice, and also the public concern for what we call the extrajudicial killings. I informed the District Attorney that I will commence full investigations. I want to bring some semblance of order to these matters, and to see how quickly we can get these matters out of the way."
He went on to state that he, and the staff of the Office of the DPP were ready to take on the job at hand.
“I am humbled and I feel honored to have taken up this office. Before [my appointment] I conducted assessments at the department. The contigent of staff is very hard working and I know that we will do quite well. However, we do need additional resources, which I am aware of, but I believe that we can do a lot with the manpower that we have.”
