Gas prices further reduced
Monday, March 14, 2016
by Office of the Prime Minister
The reduction is reflective of the cost, insurance and freight prices of petroleum products imported over the last three weeks.

Consumers in Saint Lucia will pay less for both gasoline and diesel as of Monday, March 14.

This reduction is reflective of the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) prices of products imported by the suppliers of petroleum products during the review period.

Gasoline will be sold for $0.43 less, at $9.25 per gallon. Diesel will be sold for $0.28 less, at $8.45 per gallon. The retail price of kerosene and liquid petroleum gas (LPG) - 100lb, 22lb and 20lb cylinders - remain unchanged.

The Government of Saint Lucia continues to subsidize the 20lb and 22lb LPG cylinders at a cost of $7.98 and $8.50 per cylinder, respectively.

The next adjustment will be made on April 4.
