The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) is pleased to announce the hosting of its Tax Code Saturday on Saturday, February 28, designed to assist taxpayers make the necessary adjustment to their tax codes.
In light of the recent amendments to the Income Tax Act, many taxpayers will be required to review and update their tax codes to ensure that the correct amount of tax is deducted during the current tax year. This initiative forms part of the Department’s commitment to providing accessible and proactive support during this transition period.
Temporary taxpayer service stations will be established islandwide where trained IRD officers will provide in-person assistance with;

Reviewing and updating tax codes;

Addressing general taxpayer inquires; and

Providing guidance on filing of the tax returns.
