JAPANESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS 2021

The Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations informs of the call for applications for Japanese Government Scholarships for citizens of Saint Lucia who wish to pursue Postgraduate Studies at Japanese Universities under the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho: MEXT) Scholarship Programme.

Interested persons are advised to visit the website of the Embassy of Japan in Trinidad to access the necessary information and application form as follows:

Suitable applicants will be required to sit an examination and attend an interview, both of which will be held at the Embassy in Trinidad. Applicants are advised to keep abreast of the latest developments as it pertains to travel and to further announcements from the Embassy in that regard.

Successful applicants will be selected after careful consideration by the relevant authorities in Japan. Please note that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is possible that a candidate's university acceptance can be cancelled or their programme schedule changed.
